Sebastian Stan & Vanessa Kirby Start a Throuple in New Movie

Sebastian Stan and Vanessa Kirby, both recognized with Academy Award nominations, have officially joined forces for the upcoming film adaptation of “Ruins”, a novel by Amy Taylor which will be released in the U.S. on July 1st. Miramax secured the rights to the project after engaging in a fierce battle during a bidding war.

Besides heading the cast, Stan and Kirby have also agreed to take on a producer role for the film. Most recently, Stan appeared in Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts movie, while Kirby is preparing for her Marvel Cinematic Universe introduction on July 25 as part of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Currently, they are both working on Avengers: Doomsday, where they will reprise their characters Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier and Sue Storm/Invisible Woman respectively.

The plot revolves around a pair who engage in an affair with a young woman during a summer in Athens, which could potentially shatter their bond. This tale explores themes of privilege, authority, passion, and closeness.

Currently, the film “Ruins” doesn’t have a director or a set release date as of now. It is being produced by Kirby through her production company Aluna Entertainment. Additionally, Scott Free and Linden are also involved in the production process. Alexandra Loewy from Miramax was responsible for finalizing the acquisition deal.

In addition to the Ruins, Stan is set to feature in Justin Kurzel’s forthcoming film titled Burning Rainbow Farm, alongside Leo Woodall from The White Lotus. Meanwhile, Kirby is slated to appear in Ron Howard’s upcoming period thriller Eden, which is scheduled for release this summer.
