Sean Wotherspoon recently introduced the second phase of his GapVintage collection, a continuation from its first release earlier in the year.
On April 12th, I’m thrilled to share with you a unique collection that we’ve been saving up – a meticulously handpicked selection from Gap’s archives! This drop includes some timeless classics like the iconic Gap logo hoodie, a nylon anorak windbreaker, a denim jacket, a mustard rugby shirt, denim shorts, and let’s not forget about the logo tees and backpacks. To make this release extra special, each piece will bear the designer’s signature “SW” logo, elegantly embroidered. I can hardly wait for you to see it!
In a previous statement, Wotherspoon expressed his eagerness to watch Gap expand its control over the supply of their vintage items, rekindling this initiative on a larger scale since they first pioneered it about two years ago. As the market for second-hand and vintage clothing gains traction among younger demographics, he is eagerly anticipating making GapVintage accessible to youth worldwide.
