As a die-hard fan of psychological thrillers who has lived through countless viewings of “Se7en”, I can hardly contain my excitement for its 30th anniversary release! This masterpiece from David Fincher, with its hauntingly brilliant narrative and unforgettable performances by the likes of Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, and Gwyneth Paltrow, has left an indelible mark on my cinematic soul.


To mark the 30th anniversary of the film Se7en, the much-admired psychological thriller by David Fincher, will now be offered for sale in digital format, 4K Ultra HD, and Blu-ray versions.

David Fincher masterminded the critically acclaimed film, Seven, which was penned by Andrew Kevin Walker. The star-studded cast of Seven includes big-screen veterans like Brad Pitt (known for Fight Club), Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby), and Gwyneth Paltrow (Shakespeare in Love).

In this story, two detectives, Pitt and Freeman, pursue a cunning and evasive murderer who has designed a series of gruesome crimes. Each victim is chosen based on their involvement in one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

When is the Se7en 4K UHD & Blu-ray release date?

In a groundbreaking move, the 1997 thriller is set to undergo a 4K Ultra High Definition makeover for the very first time, beginning January 7, 2025. This upgraded version will be available for purchase both online and at major brick-and-mortar retailers. Furthermore, it can also be streamed digitally in stunning 4K Ultra HD on platforms like Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, FandangoNow, and more.
