Initially, when Bradley Bell, the show’s executive producer and writer, disclosed Liam’s cancer diagnosis to actor Clifton, he was thrilled about tackling this acting task. “I’m truly, truly eager to share this narrative,” said Clifton, “because I’ve never been given such a significant role before. And I’m extremely thankful to Brad for having such confidence in me to handle it.

After receiving troubling updates about Liam, he proceeded to express his views on Liam’s transformations and growth. Here’s how Clifton put it: “You might notice a hint of…I’m not sure if it’s anger, but he becomes a bit more pointed, you understand? It was quite intriguing to navigate these various methods of dealing with things, but all within a rather intense, brief span. I truly enjoyed the roller coaster ride,” Clifton shared. He further added: “Indeed, eventually he comes to terms with it — and the way he responds when he does is fascinating, and that essentially lays the foundation for the rest of the story.

Concerning Liam’s role in the series, Clifton didn’t disclose if it’s now time for him to depart. He himself seems unsure about his future on the show, but he keeps a positive outlook, hoping that everything will work out favorably regardless. In other words, Clifton stated that he’s taking things one step at a time and not dwelling too much on what may happen in the future.

I’m not entirely sure where this is leading us yet, as I’ve only shot a few more episodes than you’ve watched!’.
