Johansson expressed that Elita-1’s character seems to have a strong sense of honesty and is naturally a leader. She admitted, however, that her Type-A personality, which includes a certain level of control obsession, might have led Josh to misjudge her capabilities in the role. Keegan-Michael Key commended Johansson for embodying Elita-1 effectively on screen and noted her ability to portray toughness convincingly during filming.
