Goggins will be making his initial appearance as host, while Johansson will grace our screens once again for her seventh time on the show. Scarlett Johansson set to host SNL along with Walton Goggins
NBC’s Saturday Night Live is getting ready to conclude its 50th season by featuring two big-name hosts: Walton Goggins and Scarlett Johansson. The remaining shows are set for May 10 and May 17 respectively.
On May 10th, Goggins will grace the Saturday Night Live stage for the first time ever. He’s famous for his roles in The White Lotus Season 3, and this will be his initial stint as a host. Accompanying him will be Arcade Fire, who will serve as the musical guest. Notably, their performance is scheduled only a day after the launch of their seventh studio album titled Pink Elephant.
On May 17th, Scarlett Johansson will take the stage once again as host for the seventh time, wrapping up this season. Since making her hosting debut back in 2006, she has graced our screens multiple times, with appearances in 2007, 2010, 2015, 2017, and 2019 as well. Being married to Weekend Update co-anchor Colin Jost, she also made a brief return earlier this season, reprising her role as Ivanka Trump in the “White POTUS” sketch. In addition, she was a notable figure during the SNL 50th anniversary celebrations.
In this upcoming episode, Bad Bunny will make his third appearance on the show as a musical guest. He has graced our screens before, acting as a musical guest in 2021 and both host and performer in October 2023. His latest album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, came out earlier this year.
In the climax of this season, viewers are in store for a customary comedic exchange between Michael Che and Colin Jost, known as Weekend Update. Last time, a joke authored by Michael Che and delivered by Jost was aimed at Johansson. She subsequently labeled it “offensive” and “lewd.” (As reported by Deadline)
