Scarlett Johansson talks about Jurassic World Rebirth
On Tuesday, Scarlett Johansson graced the green carpet at the world premiere of Jurassic World: Rebirth in London. Accompanied by fellow cast members Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, and Ed Skrein, Johansson marked the beginning of the newest installment in the Jurassic series at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square. In attendance were director Gareth Edwards, screenwriter David Koepp, who penned the original Jurassic Park, and producer Frank Marshall.
In simple and conversational language:
Wearing a bright pink dress, Johansson talked excitedly about the movie she was in. She said it was like a special thank you to Steven Spielberg for his early Jurassic Park movies. Talking to reporters, she explained that the film was essentially a heartfelt tribute to Steven’s work. Fans of the Jurassic Park universe will recognize the essence of the original Jurassic Park in this movie. (via Variety)
Back when I was just a kid, the very first time I stepped into a cinema, it was none other than the original Jurassic Park that left me in awe. That movie was nothing short of life-changing and mind-blowing! Now, here I am, absolutely thrilled to be given the chance to become part of this magnificent Jurassic universe. The script for this project is simply incredible, and I can barely contain my excitement about it.
In Jurassic World: Rebirth, the story unfolds five years after the occurrences of Jurassic World: Dominion. Due to Earth’s ecosystem becoming largely inhospitable for dinosaurs, most have sought refuge in secluded areas. Remarkably, there are three dinosaurs whose DNA could hold the secret to creating a vital medication.
Johansson takes on the role of Zora Bennett, an operative hired by a drug company to embark on a critical assignment. Accompanying her are Dr. Henry Loomis, a paleontologist skillfully played by Jonathan Bailey, and Duncan Kincaid, the team leader, portrayed by Mahershala Ali.
