Scarlett Johansson discussed her playful red carpet kisses with Jonathan Bailey, her co-star from Jurassic World Rebirth, during an interview on the Today show on June 25. When asked about it by host Craig Melvin, she replied, “He’s a charming fellow. What else is there to say?” She also mentioned, “We’re just friendly individuals… I have a lot of affection to share.
At the London premiere on June 17 and the New York premiere on June 23, the couple exchanged kisses. Johansson’s spouse, Colin Jost, was also in attendance at the New York event. When Melvin commented that Bailey is “simply captivating,” Johansson agreed with a laugh, saying, “Well, you certainly put it well!
In conversation with Entertainment Tonight, Bailey shared a similar thought: “If you can’t even share a kiss with your friends… life seems too brief for such restrictions.” This remark was made during a shared appearance with co-star Mahershala Ali on Today with Jenna & Friends on June 24.

During the promotional journey for the release of Jurassic World Rebirth (opening in theaters on July 2), there were encounters on the red carpet. In her recent interview on Today, Johansson additionally discussed the filmmaking process behind Jurassic World: Dominion. She likened the outdoor shoots to a “warm” environment, which she believes facilitated a strong connection between her, Bailey, and other castmates.
