The food world is gearing up once more for another round of R-rated madness! Amazon Prime Video has revealed the trailer for season 2 of Sausage Party: Foodtopia, a much-awaited comeback of Seth Rogen’s adult-themed animated series.
The animated show for grown-ups follows on from the 2016 comedy called Sausage Party, which had mixed reviews. Despite this, it turned out to be quite popular. As a result, an ongoing series came about, and it’s as explicit as before. When the first season premiered, it broke streaming records. The second season is set to arrive, promising more of the same “hot and ready.
What happens in the Sausage Party: Foodtopia Season 2 trailer?
The freshly unveiled trailer depicts Frank Frankfurter, mourning the demise of his beloved Brenda Bunson, departing from Foodtopia following banishment alongside his companions Barry, Sammy Bagel Jr., and Jack. On their quest to discover a new settlement, they stumble upon New Foodland: an alluring and idyllic food-focused community where people are tamed. However, Frank finds this seemingly flawless place unsettling – it appears too good to be true, sparking his suspicions.

Besides being one of the show’s creators, Rogen additionally lent his voice to the character Frank once more. Other familiar voices include Edward Norton portraying Sammy, Michael Cera as Barry, and both David Krumholtz and Alejandro Saab reprising their roles from the initial movie.
In the second season, we see a return of characters from the first season: Will Forte as Jack, Sam Richardson as Julius, and Yassir Lester as Iced Tea. Additionally, new voice actors have joined the cast for this season, including Marion Cotillard, Martin Starr, Jillian Bell, Melissa Villaseñor, Andre Braugher, Haley Joel Osment, Jay Pharoah, Miles Fisher, and Patti Harrison.
