Directed by Jason Reitman and penned by Gil Kenan & Reitman, the film Saturday Night transports us backstage during the 90 minutes before the premiere of Saturday Night Live. Brimming with wit, tumult, and the enchanting energy of a near-aborted revolution, we journey in real time as we wait for those iconic words…

On weekend nights, Saturday Night is helmed by director Jason Reitman, who collaborated on the script with Gil Kenan. Notably, Reitman’s previous project was Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. The film is being produced by Jason Reitman, Gil Kenan, Jason Blumenfeld, Erica Mills, and Peter Rice.
