As a lifelong fan of Saturday Night Live (SNL), I am beyond excited about the upcoming film “Saturday Night”! Having grown up watching the iconic show and its legendary cast, I can hardly wait to see this behind-the-scenes look at the creation of one of television’s most groundbreaking programs.
The first look at Saturday Night has been revealed.
Vanity Fair has unveiled fresh visuals for the upcoming movie titled “Saturday Night,” directed by Jason Reitman. This movie recounts the series of events that transpired prior to the premiere night of Saturday Night Live in 1975. The story unfolds at 10 p.m. on October 11, 1975, and concludes with the inaugural broadcast of SNL.
“Reitman shared with Vanity Fair that the subject isn’t limited to just the initial seven actors, but also includes the writers, art department, and everyone who miraculously pulled together at the last moment to revolutionize television. What made this show particularly exceptional was not only its live format, but also its unique, never-before-seen structure.”
