Sankranti 2025 Box Office Clash: Vishwambhara, Good Bad Ugly to Sankranthiki Vastunnamu; Check full list

1. “The fantasy movie ‘Vishwambhara,’ directed by Vassishta and starring Chiranjeevi, is set to premiere on January 10, 2025. This high-budget film, with a cost over Rs 100 crore, marks one of the actor’s priciest productions yet. The production kicked off in November 2023, and Chiranjeevi has already commenced shooting his parts.”

Based on news articles, Chiranjeevi is set to play the role of Dorababu in the upcoming film. MM Keeravani will create the music for Vishwambhara. V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati, and Vikram Reddy are producing the movie under UV Creations. The identities of the remaining cast and crew have not been disclosed by the producers yet.

Shatamanam Bhavati 2

2nd installment of Shatamanam Bhavati (2017 Telugu film), continues in the path paved by its predecessor – a lauded family drama that garnered both critical acclaim and commercial success. Initially directed by Satish Vegesna and produced by Dil Raju, it delved into the emotional struggles of parents being overlooked by their children. Starring Sharwanand and Anupama Parameswaran, this movie was met with positive reviews.

Akhanda 2

The team-up of Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu resulted in a huge box office hit with Akanda, proving once again that they make a successful combination. According to sources, they are planning to work together on Akhanda 2, which is expected to hit theaters during Sankranthi 2025.

Nagarjuna’s 100th film or Bangarraju 2

Nagarjuna Akkineni, renowned for his acting in films like Geethanjali and Siva, captivated audiences once more with his performance in Naa Saami Ranga, which premiered over the Sankranti holiday. During the movie’s success celebration, Nagarjuna shared his intentions to act in another film for next year’s Sankranti festival. Although unofficially reported, whispers indicate that he could be featured in Love Action Romance, a production by KE Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green.

During the same period, Nagarjuna is preparing for the production of Bangarraju’s continuation. He will both act in and produce this upcoming movie on a large scale. The plan is to debut this new installment during the Sankranti festival in 2025.

Upcoming Tamil movie titled “Good Bad Ugly,” helmed by Adhik Ravichandran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is a high-octane action thriller. The star-studded cast includes Ajith Kumar as the main protagonist, along with Sunil, Tabu, S.J. Suryah, and Arvind Swamy in pivotal roles.

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but notice the intriguing title, “Good Bad Ugly,” which seems to hint at the multifaceted characters Ajith is about to bring to life in this upcoming movie. And here’s the cherry on top – the National Award-winning maestro, Devi Sri Prasad, who previously collaborated with Ajith on the 2014 film Veeram, will be weaving his magical tunes for this project!
