Sankranthiki Vasthunam OTT Release: When and where to watch Venkatesh Daggubati’s action comedy film online

This year, Venkatesh Daggubati’s film “Sankranthiki Vasthunam” was victorious at the box office during Sankranti. Despite speculations about a digital release in February, these plans were postponed due to its prosperous run in theaters. Now, it is scheduled to debut on digital platforms next month.

When and where to watch Sankranthiki Vasthunam

Starting March 1, the film titled “Sankranthiki Vasthunam” will be available for streaming on ZEE5 in various languages such as Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. Additionally, the TV debut of this movie will take place on ZEE Telugu at 6 PM on the same day.

In the tranquil home known as Sankranthiki Vasthunam, YD Raju coexists harmoniously with his spouse, Bhagyalakshmi (Aishwarya Rajesh). Yet, their serene lifestyle is jolted when Raju’s former sweetheart, Meenakshi (Meenakshi Chaudhary), requests aid in a kidnapping predicament. As Raju gets involved in the investigation, Bhagyalakshmi begins to grow suspicious of his dealings with Meenakshi, prompting her to tag along to monitor him closely.

As they progress through their quest, it becomes a blend of unexpected twists and turbulence. In the process of unraveling the mystery, they must navigate through the strains in their personal connections as well.

Cast and crew of Sankranthiki Vasthunam

This movie was helmed by Anil Ravipudi who both directed and wrote the script. Dil Raju served as the producer. The stunning visuals are thanks to Sameer Reddy handling the cinematography, while Tammiraju handled the editing process. On the musical side, Bheems Ceciroleo was responsible for composing the film’s tunes.

The main characters are: Venkatesh as the former DCP Yadagari Damodara Raju (Y. D. Raju), with Karthikeya Dev depicting his younger self. Aishwarya Rajesh takes on the role of Bhagyalakshmi, Raju’s wife, while Meenakshi Chaudhary is cast as ACP Meenakshi, his former girlfriend. Other significant roles are filled by Sarvadaman D. Banerjee as Schoolmaster Yadagiri, Srinivasa Reddy as the family doctor of Kesava, and P. Sai Kumar as Manikya Rao.

In this production, Upendra Limaye steps into the character of George Antony, the Jailer; Naresh portrays Kesava, serving as the Chief Minister; VTV Ganesh assumes the role of the Party President. Srinivas Avasarala is featured in a double role, depicting both Satya Akella and Prem. Master Revanth takes on the part of Bulli Raju, who happens to be the son of Raju and Bhagyam.
