Sandra Bullock & Nicole Kidman’s Practical Magic 2 Cast Adds GOT & DC Stars

Warner Bros. has confirmed the seven newcomers set to star in the upcoming sequel of the 1998 hit romantic fantasy film, “Practical Magic”. Among these are two familiar faces – Academy Award winner Dianne Wiest and Academy Award nominee Stockard Channing. They will be teaming up once more with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman in this sequel. Wiest and Channing have agreed to reprise their roles as Aunt Jet and Aunt Franny, which they played in the original film.

As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that I’ll be looking forward to Practical Magic 2, directed by the talented Griffin Dunne (An American Werewolf in London)! The screenplay is penned by the original scribe Akiva Goldsman and Georgie Pritchett. Nicole Kidman, Sandra Bullock, and Denise Di Novi are producing this magical journey. Production is set to begin in the heart of summer, right here in London. Can’t wait to see the enchantment unfold!

Who is joining the Practical Magic 2 cast?

By the given deadline, along with Bullock and Kidman, five fresh cast members will join the team. These include Joey King, famously known for “The Act” and “The Kissing Booth”, Lee Pace from “Foundation”, Maisie Williams hailing from “Game of Thrones”, Xolo Maridueña starring in “Cobra Kai” and “Blue Beetle”, and Solly McLeod, recognized for “The Dead Don’t Hurt”. King has been selected to portray the daughter of Bullock’s character Sally Owens. Her role is expected to be the one who uncovers the family’s hidden secrets and her own latent powers, which could lead to a family crisis.

Approximately a quarter of a century ago, Sally, Gillian, Aunt Jet, and Aunt Franny leapt from Alice Hoffman’s cherished novel onto movie screens worldwide. We are elated to introduce the Owens family once more on the big screen, as Joey, Lee, Maisie, Solly, and Xolo now become a part of the narrative. The enduring love for these characters has fueled our determination to present the next chapter in the Owens’ tale to both new admirers and those who have been with us since the beginning.
