As per the latest update from Rangasthalam, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has completed the creation of the music score for the movie titled Spirit, in collaboration with Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
According to recent rumors, there’s a strong possibility that production for the movie “Spirit” will start around the second week of September 2025. Furthermore, it is believed that the creators are shooting for a successful and musically impressive final product.
About Spirit
For some time now, the movie titled “Spirit,” with Prabhas in the leading role, has been generating buzz throughout the community. This forthcoming action-drama is said to depict Prabhas as a passionate young police officer, grappling with a powerful criminal network.
It’s worth noting that at first, Deepika Padukone was intended to share the leading role in the movie. However, the planned negotiations didn’t work out, causing Deepika to leave the project.
In time, the animal actress Triptii Dimri joined the project and took on the main character, marking her first appearance in Telugu films. However, the casting for other roles is still pending confirmation from the producers.
Prabhas’ upcoming films
This year, Prabhas will make his grand return to cinemas with the horror-comedy film titled “The Raja Saab.” Directed by Maruthi, this movie is centered around a story about a man who carelessly plans to sell an inherited property, but discovers that it’s haunted by a spirit.
In the leading roles for the upcoming movie are Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar. Joining them in important roles are Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, and others. The film is set to be released on December 5, 2025.
In the future, it’s reported that Prabhas is wrapping up production on his period film, provisionally named “PrabhasHanu (Fauji)”. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, famous for Sita Ramam, this upcoming project seems to cast Prabhas as a British Army officer, who played the lead in Saaho.
Furthermore, the actor’s upcoming projects include Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, Kalki 2898 AD Part 2, and other films that are scheduled to be released.
