In the initial photographs, actress Samara Weaving assumes control as the driver in the forthcoming movie titled ‘Eenie Meanie’, a gripping heist-thriller penned and helmed by Shawn Simmons.
Debuting as his first film in the director’s chair for the creator of Wayne, the latest heist thriller originates from the 20th Century. Alongside Weaving, Eenie Meanie boasts a star-studded cast that includes Karl Glusman (from The Neon Demon and Love), Steve Zahn (known for A Perfect Getaway and The White Lotus), Andy Garcia (famous for The Godfather Part III and Father of the Bride), Randall Park (recognized in WandaVision and Fresh Off the Boat), Marshawn Lynch (acting in Bottoms and Love Hurts), Mike O’Malley (popular from Glee), and Jermaine Fowler (featured in The Blackening and Ricky Stanicky).
What is Samara Weaving’s Eenie Meanie about?
As the gamer controlling Edie, I find myself back in the gritty underworld of Eenie Meanie. Once upon a time, this was my domain as a skilled getaway driver, but that was before I left it all behind. Now, my old boss, the enigmatic Garcia, has resurfaced, offering me an opportunity I can’t refuse: a chance to save my ex-boyfriend, Glusman. It seems I can’t escape my past so easily after all.
The movie storyline revolves around an ex-teenage car thief who is compelled to revisit her shady history as an old boss presents her with an opportunity to rescue her unpredictable ex-lover, according to the summary.

Samara Weaving, famous for her roles in horror films, is equally comfortable with action-packed roles. She’s appeared in various action movies such as the hybrid genres Mayhem, Guns Akimbo, and Snake Eyes, and is particularly recognized for her role in the 2019 thriller Ready or Not. Known as one of today’s scream queens, Samara Weaving will reprise her role in the sequel, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, set to premiere on April 10, 2026.
