Sagan Lockhart Pays Homage to Los Angeles in ‘I Don’t Play 2’ Photobook

Los Angeles city lies at the heart of Sagan Lockhart‘s collection of photographs. Being an informal historian on Fairfax Street and an honorary member of Odd Future, Sagan has found constant inspiration in the streets of Southern California, serving as a central muse for his photography work.

Following the release of his first photography book, “I Don’t Play,” during the summer – a collection of images documenting Odd Future’s rise to fame – Lockhart has now unveiled “I Don’t Play 2.” He refers to this as a “time capsule” capturing the essence of Los Angeles in the 2010s.

“This one just feels a little more special to me,” Lockhart conveyed in an Instagram caption. “I wanted to create a real time capsule of the 2010s, showing the LA/California experience as I lived it. If you were there, I want this to bring back those memories, and if you weren’t, I want to help bring it to life the best I can.”
