As a gamer with over two decades of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) history under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia and excitement when seeing Ryan Reynolds’ heartfelt plea for Wesley Snipes’ Blade. The impact of the original Blade on the development of the Fox Marvel Universe and eventually the MCU cannot be overstated.
Actor Ryan Reynolds, famously known for playing Deadpool and Wolverine, recently shared his admiration for Wesley Snipes’ role as Blade on a platform once known as Twitter. He posted some exclusive backstage photos from their reunion with the veteran action star. This event marks two decades since they both appeared together in ‘Blade: Trinity’, which was Snipes’ final standalone movie as the legendary Daywalker.
What does Ryan Reynolds want for Wesley Snipes’ Blade?
As a die-hard gamer and huge fan of the Marvel Universe, I’ve always been grateful to Wesley Snipes for his groundbreaking role as Blade. His character helped clear the path for the Fox Marvel Universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe we know today. That’s why I truly believe Marvel Studios should reward Snipes with a fitting farewell movie, much like they did for Hugh Jackman in 2017 with Logan.
In simpler terms, Blade paved the way for both the Marvel Fox Universe and the MCU we know today. He’s like the “Marvel Father.” Share this if you’d give Deadpool and Wolverine a similar farewell! #DeadpoolAndWolverine
