Amazon Studios has released the formal preview for their upcoming action-drama series titled “Motorheads,” which premieres on May 20, 2025. This exciting new show features Ryan Phillippe (from Shooter and MacGruber) in a leading role and will be available to stream on Prime Video.
The show revolves around young love, initial heartache, and the joy of starting your first car. It takes place in a struggling town that once flourished but now yearns for renewal. This action-packed tale follows a band of misfits who bond over their shared passion for street racing, all while dealing with the complexities of high school life and the social structure within it.

What happens in the Motorheads trailer?
The video presents us with siblings Zac and Caitlyn, who relocated to their parents’ birthplace, aiming to uncover more details about their absentee father, a renowned street car racer. With the guidance of their uncle, it is Zac who will pick up racing skills in an effort to honor his dad’s legacy.
The TV show “Motorheads” is created and overseen by executive producer John A. Norris, with a diverse cast that includes Nathalie Kelley, Michael Cimino, Melissa Collazo, Uriah Shelton, Nicolas Cantu, Drake Rodger, Josh Macqueen, Mia Healey, Matt Lanter, Audrey Gerthoffer, and Johnna Dias-Watson.
