Following a distressing event during his residency, medical student James Hayman decides to switch to a rural hospital for a new beginning. However, it’s noticed that James is finding it tough to interact with patients and Dr. Harrison advises him to enroll in a course centered on improving bedside manner and fostering better patient relationships. As James delves deeper into the case of a perplexing asthmatic child, his past traumas start to resurface, causing his hold on reality to weaken. His nights are haunted by unsettling dreams, his mind tormented by fear-induced theories, and his body battered by injuries, all while he grapples with the unforgiving realities of the medical profession.
