Actress Rosario Dawson has agreed to star in the main role for an upcoming supernatural horror-thriller titled, “Unrelenting Good Luck.” This movie is adapted from a stage play of the same name written by playwright Edwin Sanchez. In this project, Dawson will assume the lead character.

Dawn has a long history with the horror genre, having previously acted in Quentin Tarantino’s slasher film Death Proof from 2007, Zombieland: Double Tap (a 2019 horror comedy sequel), and Disney’s remake of The Haunted Mansion. Currently, she is set to star in another horror movie titled Deepest, Darkest, alongside Ernie Hudson and Rahul Kohli. Additionally, she will once again play the lead character, Ahsoka Tano, in the upcoming second season of the Star Wars series.
What is Unmerciful Good Fortune about?
In the opening plotline of this movie, an esteemed lawyer who often represents famous clients finds himself embroiled in a sensational case. The defendant is Fatima, a clever waitress who stands accused of murdering and poisoning 28 individuals. However, as her trial progresses, it becomes increasingly enigmatic when she claims to possess psychic powers that allow her to foresee death upon touch. She argues that she’s taking these lives to prevent a fate even worse than death.
In her first attempt at directing a full-length movie, Tirsa Hackshaw will helm the project titled Unrelenting Good Fortune. This production is overseen by Dawson, Tom DeSanto, Corey Large, and Brian Kirchoff, with Jordan Wilson and Hackshaw serving as executive producers.
