Rosamund Pike & Matthew Rhys Face Parents’ Worst Nightmare in Hallow Road Trailer

XYZ Films has unveiled the official trailer for their upcoming psychological thriller, titled “Hallow Road.” Starring Oscar nominee Rosamund Pike (known for her role in Gone Girl) and Emmy winner Matthew Rhys (famous for Perry Mason), this chilling movie had its world premiere at the SXSW Film & TV Festival and is now set to hit US theaters later this summer. With a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 20 reviews, it’s looking like a must-see film.

What happens in the Hallow Road trailer?

The video presents Pike and Rhys as anxious parents, desperately attempting to contact their daughter following an unfortunate incident where she unintentionally caused harm on the road. In their efforts to shield her from punishment and conceal her actions, a puzzling figure unexpectedly appears, making their predicament significantly more intricate.

Babak Anvari, who previously directed “Under the Shadow,” takes on the role of director for the movie titled “Hallow Road.” The script for this film was penned by William Gillies. Megan McDonnell portrays Alice in the cast, while Stephen Jones and Paul Tylark play a detective and an officer respectively. The production companies involved are Two & Two Pictures, London Film & TV, and Hail Mary Pictures. XYZ Films and Screen Ireland have provided the financing for this film.

In a late-night emergency, a teenage daughter calls her parents in distress, having struck a pedestrian unintentionally.
