Actors Victoria Justice and Robbie Amell have been selected to lead the cast in the forthcoming horror-thriller titled “Give You a Scare“.
As per the storyline summary, the horror-thriller venture will revolve around an “interactive horror business that allows adrenaline junkies to scare their loved ones… however, during a presentation for potential investors, the event is hijacked by a genuine masked murderer who carries out a lethal scheme.
Besides Justice and Amell, there are several other notable actors involved in the project. These include Karan Soni, known for his role as “A Nice Indian Boy,” Noel Fisher from “Shameless,” Mackinlee Waddell, who starred in “American Spirit,” and Adain Bradley, recognized for his work in “Tarot.
Who’s behind Send a Scare?
The film “Send a Scare” will be helmed by director Capone and screenwriter Josh Trank, who is also known for his work on “Chronicle.” Alongside Trank, Andrew Ryan shares the writing duties for this project. Notably, the story upon which the movie is based was originally conceived by Ryan himself.
In this production, you’ll find the involvement of Ryan Scaringe from Kinogo Pictures and Austin Lantero from Range Media Partners. Paranormal Activity’s Steven Schneider is serving as executive producer, with Justice, Amell, Ryan, Trank, and Amy Lippens also taking on executive producing roles.
Known primarily for her character Tori Vega on Nickelodeon’s Victorious, Justice has also graced multiple TV series such as Zoey 101, Eye Candy, The Real Bros of Simi Valley, 50 States of Fright, and more recently, the legal drama Suits LA.
Justice has acted in films such as “Naomi and Ely’s No Lipshake List,” “The Rejected Ones,” “Balmy Evening,” “Beyond Life: A Farewell Bash,” “A Match Made in Heaven,” “The Educator,” and “Immorality.
Instead of Amell, it’s worth noting that he is particularly recognized for his performances in The CW’s The Tomorrow People as Stephen Jameson and The Flash as Ronnie Raymond. Additionally, he took on the lead role in Amazon Prime Video’s Upload as Nathan Brown. Some of his notable TV appearances include Life with Derek, Revenge, 1600 Penn, Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous, and The Witcher.
In terms of movies, Amell has appeared in titles such as The DUFF, Code 8, The Babysitter, The Babysitter: Killer Queen, When We First Met, Desperados, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, and several others.
