Legendary WWE Hall of Famer, Rikishi, has taken issue with Paul Heyman for not giving due recognition to Roman Reigns over CM Punk during recent events. The main event last week’s WWE RAW at Madison Square Garden was a steel cage match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins.
In the last seconds, Roman Reigns rescued Seth Rollins from the cage, ensuring CM Punk’s triumph. An angered Rollins witnessed as Reigns attacked him with a spear and a curb stomp outside the ring. Later, Reigns saw Paul Heyman attending to CM Punk within the ring.
In response, Roman Reigns stormed into the steel cage and brutally collided CM Punk with the metal wall twice before delivering a final spear. Heyman was left spellbound, taken aback by Reigns’ aggressive behavior. As all three were scheduled to appear on the upcoming WWE SmackDown, Rikishi voiced his disapproval towards Heyman for supporting Punk rather than standing by Reigns.

Last week saw Roman Reigns make a long-awaited return to WWE RAW following the Royal Rumble, where Seth Rollins viciously attacked him. On the Off The Top podcast, Rikishi emphasized how this comeback has contributed significantly to WWE’s increasing viewership and audience engagement.
Yet, he additionally discussed Paul Heyman’s response amidst the turmoil. Rather than rejoicing over Reigns’ comeback, Heyman seemed more concerned with comforting CM Punk following his defeat to Seth Rollins.
I can’t help but wonder aloud, “Why was Paul Heyman tearing up in the ring at Madison Square Garden? It’s Roman Reigns who brought back the money, the man you’ve been standing by for four-plus years. You didn’t earn those fancy suits on your own; you got them because of him now, long live the Tribal Chief.
