As a devoted fan with over two decades of emotional investment in the lives of the Forrester-Logan clan, I must say that Thursday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful was nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. The tension between Brooke, Ridge, and Taylor has always been a captivating narrative, and this latest twist is no exception.

After much anticipation, the TV series “The Bold and the Beautiful” has explained the reason behind Brooke and Ridge not tying the knot yet. Despite being engaged for a while now, they’ve had discussions about it but haven’t taken the next step. At one point, Ridge even designed several wedding dresses for Brooke to select, however, she opted to design her own instead. Yet, they haven’t moved forward with their plans since then.

On last Thursday (September 19), during the soap opera’s episode, Brooke reassured her siblings Donna and Katie that her relationship with Ridge is stable. She believes they’ve grown, their connection is strong, and they’ve faced numerous challenges together. In essence, she’s confident that nothing will split them apart. This is why Brooke isn’t anxious about Taylor returning to town. Unlike before, she genuinely feels secure, not needing to stay on alert. However, her sisters intend to keep a close watch on Dr. Taylor and they should!

Taylor and Ridge engaged in a candid conversation at Eric’s, with Ridge expressing curiosity as to why she hadn’t greeted him when they were in Monaco earlier. She admitted it was due to Brooke’s disapproval, but it seemed unimportant to Ridge, as he always cherished the opportunity to be with her, regardless of any circumstances.

He found the courage to express his genuine feelings openly to her, stating that not only his family but also himself wants her to remain. Ridge has always maintained that Taylor is the bonding agent for their entire group. Their emotional exchange, especially as it touched upon their late daughter Phoebe and how they feel she’s still with them, was touching. It was due to their openness towards each other that Taylor chose to tackle some sensitive issues.

She, much like us, has pondered over why Bridge hasn’t gotten married yet, so she inquired about it with him. Although Ridge appeared a bit uneasy with her questioning, he did respond. He openly acknowledged that they had discussed marriage but it’s not currently a priority for them. This seemed to suggest that Ridge is content without remarrying Brooke, causing Taylor to wonder if he might not view it as essential.

In simpler terms, could it be that Ridge is content with his relationship and partnership with Brooke, which explains why he’s not in a rush to marry again? Or might there be more to it – perhaps he’s hesitant about remarrying Brooke because their past unions haven’t seemed successful? Could it still be that he’s hung up on the possibility of Taylor, whom he nearly married before discovering that Thomas was the one who reported them to Child Protective Services instead of Brooke?

Regardless of where Ridge is located, it’s undeniable that Taylor harbors deep feelings for him. This she has openly expressed. Despite the challenges they face, he remains the one she cherishes as her lifelong partner and the man she envisioned growing old with. Time and space have not dimmed these emotions, and upon listening to her declarations, Ridge seemed on the verge of collapse. As Donna and Katie suggested, Brooke should be cautious!
