As a seasoned gamer who has witnessed countless wrestling matches and character arcs, I must say that the current predicament of Ricochet in AEW is quite intriguing. The way he’s been turning heads, not always for the right reasons, is reminiscent of a rollercoaster ride – full of twists, turns, and unexpected surprises.
Previously acclaimed WWE performer, Ricochet, experienced an unexpectedly cold response from spectators during the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite. In the last couple of weeks, some questionable actions by Ricochet have led fans to express their disapproval and disaffection towards him.
At the Continental Classic competition, Ricochet qualified for the semi-finals. During AEW Dynamite’s recent episode, The Hurt Syndicate challenged him, and MVP ripped up the business card that Ricochet had received from him in October.
During this rather uncomfortable exchange, Ricochet hinted that his upcoming encounter with Will Ospreay in AEW Collision would reveal an alternate aspect of himself. However, the outcome of their match was somewhat contentious. As Ospreay attempted a move from the top rope, Ricochet intentionally shoved the referee into the ropes, causing Ospreay to lose his balance. Subsequently, he executed a Spirit Gun on Ospreay, securing the victory.
In the recent AEW Dynamite event, Ricochet battled Darby Allin in the Continental Classic tournament. Yet, as Ricochet entered Hammerstein Ballroom, fans expressed their dissatisfaction by throwing toilet paper, indicating their disapproval. The battle between Ricochet and Allin ended in a stalemate due to time limits, leaving no decisive victor.

In spite of some challenges, Ricochet managed to advance to the semi-finals of the Continental Classic tournament. Yet, his experiences there have left an unpleasant aftertaste, as he bluntly stated, “New York still sits bitterly in my memory.
Ricochet opens up about how the AEW Dynamite fans response affected him
Following his qualification for the semi-finals at the Continental Classic tournament, Ricochet expressed his feelings towards the audience’s response during AEW Dynamite. Despite making it to the following stage, he didn’t appreciate the way the crowd welcomed him.
At AEW’s Worlds End this weekend in sunny Orlando, I, Ricochet, will be battling it out in the semi-finals. Recently, I took to social media to share my feelings about the New York crowd. To be honest, their energy left a rather unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth.
Every time I visit New York, it leaves such an unpleasant feeling in my heart, but it makes Las Vegas seem even more beautiful.

Originally a WWE star, he recently expressed that although he doesn’t intend to visit Orlando voluntarily, he wishes fans would acknowledge his due respect this coming weekend at AEW Worlds End. In this event, he will battle Kazuchika Okada in the semi-finals. If successful against Okada, he would either meet Will Ospreay or Kyler Fletcher in the finals.
