Netflix unveils the initial teaser for the sports drama titled “Rez Ball“, offering a sneak peek into an upcoming movie about a Native American high school basketball team as they aim for a coveted state title.
“Rez Ball is a film helmed by director Sydney Freeland, who collaborated with Sterlin Harjo in scriptwriting. This movie is an adaptation of the sports novel ‘Canyon Dreams’, penned by Michael Powell for The New York Times.”

Who is in Rez Ball?
The movie features Jessica Matten, Kauchani Bratt, Cody Lightning, Dallas Goldtooth, Ernest David Tsosie, Kusem Goodwind, Zoey Reyes, Amber Midthunder, and Julia Jones. “Rez Ball” is slated for a worldwide release on Netflix on September 27, 2024. Additionally, the film will debut at the Toronto International Film Festival later this year as its world premiere.
