He also acknowledged Mani Ratnam as a master of vintage gangster dramas and praised Kamal Haasan’s performance, calling it yet another outstanding demonstration of acting skills.

Moving forward, the director extolled Silambarasan TR’s style and commended the entire cast for their acting skills. Subbaraj ended his praise by acknowledging the enchanting work of AR Rahman and cinematographer Ravi K Chandran in the movie.

Following a conflict and incarceration, Sakthivel finds himself back at his residence, but alas, his domain has been seized by Amaran. From this point onward, the movie primarily explores the simmering resentment between the two, who were once deeply affectionate father and son.
