As a seasoned gamer who’s spent countless hours wrestling virtual opponents and cheering for my favorite WWE superstars, I must say, Drew McIntyre’s surprise return to RAW was as thrilling as a perfect pin in the final match of WrestleMania! The suspense leading up to his reappearance was palpable, and when that hooded figure delivered a Claymore Kick, my heart skipped a beat.
Previously crowned WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Drew McIntyre, launched an unexpected assault during the climactic episode of RAW. After a nearly two-month absence, McIntyre reappeared on our screens.
In the most recent edition of WWE RAW, Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn had a confrontation due to Zayn’s partnership with CM Punk and Roman Reigns. This intense dispute culminated in Zayn issuing a challenge to Rollins for the main event match of the night.
Prior to the bout, Jey Uso was ambushed backstage by an unidentified individual. Sami Zayn suspected Seth Rollins as the culprit. Throughout the fight, Rollins denied being the attacker to Zayn. Enraged, Zayn attempted to hit Rollins with a chair, but Rollins managed to prevent it. After discarding the chair from the ring, Rollins seized the opportunity and pinned Zayn to secure the victory in the match.
Following our battle, I found myself disheartened and caught off guard by a mysterious figure draped in shadows. This enigmatic character unleashed a powerful Claymore Kick, revealing none other than Drew McIntyre – the one who had ambushed Jey Uso. McIntyre, who’d been absent from WWE since early October following his crushing defeat to CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell match, staged an unexpected comeback.
Instead of anticipating him to come back when WWE RAW premiered on Netflix, McIntyre surprised everyone with his appearance this week on RAW. It appears that the reason for McIntyre’s return was due to an injury sustained by Bronson Reed during the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames event.
Bronson Reed’s injury led to Drew McIntyre’s surprise return on WWE RAW
According to PWInsider’s latest updates, WWE has advanced Drew McIntyre’s comeback by multiple weeks due to Bronson Reed’s ankle injury during Survivor Series. This adjustment occurred because Reed got hurt when he leaped from the steel cage top and crashed through a table with a Tsunami maneuver at the event.
It wasn’t thought that Drew McIntyre would make his comeback so quickly, but an early return seems to have been necessitated due to Bronson Reed getting hurt during The Bloodline WarGames match.

Bronson Reed posted on social media about hurting his ankle during a Tsunami stunt off a cage platform. Earlier reports had suggested that McIntyre would come back for WWE’s holiday live events, but now that he is back in action, fans are excited to see if he goes after the remaining members of the original Bloodline group.
