As a lifestyle expert with a background in psychology and law, I find myself deeply saddened by this ongoing saga of Darshan Thoogudeepa’s legal troubles. The tragic death of Renukaswamy has cast a long shadow over the lives of many, including his family, friends, and fans.
Warning: This article discusses a violent crime that may distress some readers due to its graphic nature.
The latest update in the murder case of Renukaswamy, a 33-year-old fan of Darshan Thoogudeepa from Chitradurga, has brought about a fresh development. For the first time, the Bangalore court refused the actor’s initial bail plea. Subsequently, he presented another bail petition to the Karnataka High Court. However, the hearing scheduled for this petition has been postponed to a future date.
In my fervent enthusiasm as a devoted fan, I’m sharing an update: Darshan’s legal representative, BV Nagesh, implored the court for his bail, citing his urgent need for back surgery due to severe discomfort. The honorable Justice Vishwajit Shetty presided over a single-judge bench and demanded all medical records related to this Kannada actor. The hearing was postponed to October 28, 2024, allowing time for the court to review these documents.
With this recent update, there’s been talk that the postponement could lead to the actor being granted bail by Diwali, falling on October 31, 2024. At present, however, no definitive information has been released about the outcome.
For those unfamiliar, on October 17, 2024, Darshan filed a new bail application in the Karnataka High Court, contesting the previous rejections by lower courts.
It seems the Kannada actor made an urgent appeal for his bail hearing to the High Court, and this was not only his request but also Pavithra Gowda, who is rumored to be his girlfriend and has been arrested in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy, had jointly submitted a bail plea.
On June 9, 2024, Renukaswamy’s body was discovered near a stormwell drain in Sumanahalli, Bangalore. It appears that Darshan Thoogudeepa and his associates kidnapped, tortured, and murdered him under the accusation that he had been sending inappropriate messages to Pavithra Gowda.
Meanwhile, as the family of Renukaswamy continues their struggle to find justice following the murder of their loved one and husband, Sahana, the deceased’s wife, welcomed their son into the world on October 16, 2024. This new arrival has brought a glimmer of hope for the family in these challenging times.
