Reese Cooper has a knack for putting a new spin on things, such as reinventing the concept of wheel design. Launching his own fashion brand, without formal training, in 2016, he presented his Fall/Winter 2018 collection in Paris only two years later. For his recent Paris Fashion Week showcase, Cooper is pushing boundaries in traditional outerwear and redefining more formal attire and typical sophisticated shapes using the perspective of his rough-and-tumble outdoor gear.

Currently residing in Los Angeles, Cooper infuses a laid-back California vibe into his Spring/Summer 2026 presentation, designing a collection of 30 pieces that seamlessly transition from outdoor adventures to less-than-ideal workspaces.

The designer revealed to Vogue Runway that their favorite approach is to swap or reverse conventional items, making the usual unusual.

Prior to exhibiting the collection at an Upper Marais showroom during this season’s Paris Fashion Week, Cooper decided to shoot the lookbook approximately an hour north of Los Angeles, more precisely on a specific rock located within the San Gabriel River area of the Angeles National Forest.

This assemblage features an array of earth-toned blazers and suits made from nylon material, accented with ripstop cording at the waist. Regular trousers are reimagined as pocketed cargo pants and dark-washed denim options. Plaid patterns adorn numerous pairs of deep-pocketed pants and tailored work jackets, while camouflage motifs are incorporated into many items within the collection.
