As a huge fan of action thrillers, I can hardly contain my excitement for Netflix’s upcoming release, “Rebel Ridge,” starring the talented Aaron Pierre. The story follows Terry Richmond, a man on a mission to save his cousin and bring justice to his family. But when his own savings are taken by corrupt law enforcement, he is forced into a dangerous battle against the local police chief and his officers.
Netflix has revealed that “Rebel Ridge,” their upcoming action thriller, will be out for viewing, featuring Aaron Pierre from “The Lion King” in the leading role.
I was excitedly making my way into the small town of Shelby Springs, with a straightforward yet pressing objective: bailing out my cousin who was in grave danger. However, just as I arrived, an unexpected obstacle emerged – my life savings were confiscated by the law enforcement without reason. Now, I found myself facing off against Police Chief Sandy Burnne and his formidable team.
When is the Rebel Ridge release date?
Starting September 6, 2024, you can stream Rebel Ridge on Netflix. As a bonus, they’ve shared the initial images of the primary cast members, among them is Pierre.

The film, written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier (Hold the Dark), is described as a thrilling blend of deep human emotions and fast-paced action. Originally, John Boyega from Star Wars was planned to star in the production. However, unexpected “family issues” forced him to withdraw halfway through filming.
As a gamer, I can tell you that in this movie, Don Johnson, AnnaSophia Robb, David Denman, Emory Cohen, Steve Zissis, Zsané Jhé, Dana Lee, and James Cromwell join the cast. The production team includes Anish Savjani, Neil Kopp, and Vincent Savino, with Daniel Jason Heffner, Macon Blair, and Louise Lovegrove serving as executive producers.
