Ram Charan is now fully prepared for his upcoming sports drama, currently known as RC16, which is being directed by Buchi Babu Sana. In this film, Buchi Babu Sana is at the helm, and Charan will display a muscular physique while portraying a character unlike any he’s played before in his other movies. As previously confirmed by the film’s cinematographer, cricket will play a significant role within the movie’s backdrop.
Now, according to a fresh update from Telugu Chitraalu, it appears that Ram Charan and his crew on RC16 are preparing to incorporate another sport, specifically wrestling, into their upcoming film.
According to reports, the team is expected to travel to Delhi later in March, with Ram set to film intense wrestling scenes. It’s exciting to imagine Ram taking on a new role, portraying a wrestler unlike any other we’ve seen before.
At present, these are merely rumors as neither the creators nor the cast have officially confirmed anything about it.
Indeed, there’s much anticipation surrounding this new project, given the popularity of the superstar. Fans have pinned their expectations high on RC16, hoping it will deliver an impressive performance, especially after the less-than-stellar box office reception of Ram Charan’s recent film, Game Changer.
According to a recent report by 123 Telugu, renowned composer AR Rahman is expected to receive an impressive fee of approximately 80 million rupees for composing the music of RC16.
Actress Janhvi Kapoor will share screen time with Ram Charan in an upcoming sports drama, playing the lead role. Previously, she has made an impact in the Telugu film industry through her work in “Devara,” which is set to hit theaters alongside Jr NTR in 2024.
In addition, it’s worth mentioning that Ram Charan is planning to join forces with director Sukumar again, following their previous film, Rangasthalam. Their upcoming project, RC17, will present him in a modern avatar and an intriguing twist to his on-screen persona.
