Without a doubt, the movie’s narrative delves into a deeply emotional chapter from India’s history. It portrays the turmoil and hardships that arose in the former princely state of Hyderabad following India’s independence on August 15, 1947.
As a devoted follower, I find myself reflecting on the contrast between other states that savored the taste of true freedom and Hyderabad, which persistently remained under Nizami rule. During this period, the people of the state endured immense suffering, primarily at the hands of the Razakars.
The movie also includes a reminder of the intense fervor that erupted due to conflicts between the Nizam and the Razakars, in contrast with the valiance and fortitude shown by actual heroes who stepped up, managed, and shielded the people.
