Ravi Mohan’s wife Aarti Ravi demands Rs 40 lakh alimony per month in court during legal divorce battle

As a lifestyle expert, I’m following with keen interest the high-profile separation of Ravi Mohan and Aarti Ravi. The heated exchanges between them on social media have certainly piqued the curiosity of many online enthusiasts. Recently, they both made their court appearances to formally submit their petitions, marking the beginning of their official separation after approximately 15 years of marital union.

As per a report from One India Tamil, Ravi Mohan and Aarti attended their ongoing divorce proceedings at the Chennai Family Welfare Court today. The court has scheduled the next hearing for June 12, 2025. In today’s session, Aarti submitted a request asking for a monthly support of 40 million rupees from Ravi Mohan, who is known as an actor in Parasakthi productions.

Previously, Ravi Mohan initiated a divorce proceeding at the same family court. The case was then forwarded to the Mediation and Harmony Center, where the judge advised them to have amicable conversations. Subsequently, they took part in three mediation meetings. These discussions were said to be carried out peacefully and cooperatively throughout.

Once mediation was finished, the necessary case documents and related files were returned to the Family Welfare Court for continued proceedings. On May 21st, 2025, the couple stood before the judge at the First Family Court. Since the hearing has been delayed, everyone is eagerly awaiting the next scheduled session on June 12th.

Regarding the ongoing dispute between Ravi Mohan and Aarti on social media, matters escalated when Aarti disclosed some startling truths. Just recently, the actor from Genie released a detailed statement, alleging mistreatment during his marriage. Furthermore, he clarified his bond with singer Kenishaa Francis, describing her as a source of unwavering support during challenging times.

In contrast to what he said, it appeared as if Aarti subtly criticized the actor by implying that the singer had always been part of their married life. Furthermore, she hinted at possessing evidence showing a third party’s involvement in their relationship long before they decided to file for divorce.

Take a look at both of their statements below:

Since their marriage in 2009, Ravi Mohan and Aarti have become parents to two boys named Aarav and Ayaan.
