Lately, film director Joshua Sethuraman disclosed why he chose to work with Raveena in his latest movie. In an interview with TOI, he mentioned that Raveena consented to join the project following her viewing of his earlier production titled Gentlewoman.
He explained that he knows people in the Bollywood industry, which helped him connect with her. He mentioned his first movie, “Gentlewoman,” as an example of his work. After she watched it, he shared the story of this current film with her, and she too showed interest.
As a connoisseur of all things entertainment, I must share that Raveena Tandon has graced not only Tamil but also Telugu cinemas throughout her illustrious career. However, it’s been quite some time since we’ve seen her in Kollywood – specifically, her last appearance was back in 2001 with the film Aalavandhan.
In simpler terms, the movie that falls under the genre of action-thrillers was skillfully orchestrated by Suresh Krissna. The main characters in this film were Kamal Haasan, Manisha Koirala, Anu Hasan, Kitu Gidwani, and Sarath Babu, with others also contributing to the cast.
Over the past few years, Raveena has made a significant impact in the cinemas of the south too, particularly shining in the popular Kannada movie KGF: Chapter 2, where she acted alongside stars like Yash and Sanjay Dutt.
Looking ahead, the talented actress has two more films lined up—Housefull 5 and Inn Galiyon Mein.
