In the near future, ComingSoon will unveil an exclusive sneak peek of a Cold Wallet clip, offering a glimpse into an upcoming thriller centered around a group who intends to kidnap a financial influencer following a scam. The movie is now available in selected cinemas and on video-on-demand platforms.
What happens in the Cold Wallet clip?
In their conversation, Billy (played by Raúl Castillo) and Charles Hegel (Josh Brener), the man who was kidnapped, discuss Billy’s past mistakes involving being scammed. As a possible solution, Charles proposes a deal to Billy if he agrees to leave his friends behind.

Under the direction of Cutter Hodierne, Cold Wallet was penned by John Hibey. The movie features Raul Castillo (known for Cassandro in Smile 2 and The First Purge), Melonie Diaz (also from The First Purge), Tony Cavalero (The Righteous Gemstones), Josh Brener (Silicon Valley), as well as Zoe Winters (Succession) in its cast.
The movie’s synopsis describes “Cold Wallet,” a story about an unconventional group of Redditors acting as vigilantes, who were swindled out of their fortune in a cryptocurrency fraud. Their mission is to find and capture the mysterious mastermind behind their financial downfall, the so-called crypto empire kingpin. However, when their attempt at kidnapping goes awry, they find themselves drawn into a complex psychological trap that challenges not only their trust but also their mental stability.
