Rashmika Mandanna REVEALS if she’s picky about choosing roles and claims, ‘I don’t take my life too seriously’

For a while now, Rashmika Mandanna has consistently achieved significant success. She’s not only made a strong impact in South Indian films, but she’s also secured prominent roles in Bollywood, thereby establishing a renowned reputation throughout India.

During an interview with IANS, Rashmika was inquired whether she’s particular about the roles she takes on. Specifically, she was asked if she considers the potential influence of a movie on her professional path prior to agreeing to star in it.

To put it simply, when asked about her approach, the actress stated that she doesn’t take life overly seriously. Instead, she concentrates on the art of storytelling and feels that character significance is unimportant. Whether she plays a mother of two, four, or even a grandmother, she remains committed to the tale being told.

Rashmika expressed, “First and foremost, I don’t put much weight on my life. It seems like there’s a higher power directing me, doesn’t it? And I simply roll with the punches.” She further mentioned, “I just want to be included in the tale-spinning.

Moreover, the actress from Pushpa 2 emphasized that she doesn’t follow any specific plan when it comes to selecting films or scripts. Instead, she aims to join narratives that resonate with audiences in the end.

Recently, Rashmika Mandanna shared that she has moved past being known as a ‘National Crush’, a title she received following the success of her movie Kirik Party.

She mentioned that she was once affectionately referred to as a college crush, but later gained nationwide fame under the label “crush.” However, currently, she feels she has progressed beyond that stage.

As an ardent admirer, I’d rephrase Rashmika’s statement as follows: Today, with all the affection pouring in, I sense a profound shift. Whenever I hear phrases like, “You are the nation’s sweetheart” or “You’re deeply cherished,” it stirs an indescribable warmth within me. It seems that I’ve grown roots not just in their lives, but also in their hearts, and I am determined to continue captivating them even more.
