Previously, Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna collaborated on the film Sarileru Neekevvaru, which debuted in 2020. This movie, helmed by Anil Ravipudi, followed the storyline of an army officer who was assigned a secret mission to Kurnool, where he became embroiled in a massive fraud.
The film blended action and comedy genres received a mix of positive and negative criticisms. Notable actors such as Vijayashanti, Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Sangeetha Krish, Murali Sharma, among others, played significant roles in the production. Additionally, Tamannaah Bhatia made a brief appearance in the movie.
In terms of her acting career, Rashmika Mandanna will soon be seen in the movie “Pushpa 2: The Rule,” starring Allu Arjun. This film, directed by Sukumar, sees her returning to the role of Srivalli. Moreover, she is slated to take on multiple roles in upcoming films like “Chhava” alongside Vicky Kaushal, “Kubera” with Dhanush, and “Sikandar,” starring Salman Khan.
