As an ardent fan of Allu Arjun and his cinematic brilliance, I was looking forward to the much-anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2. However, the recent developments regarding Jani Master’s involvement have left me quite disheartened. It’s truly disappointing to learn that such allegations are tarnishing not just the film industry, but also the creative process behind it.
In light of allegations of sexual misconduct against him by a younger female associate, choreographer Jani Master has been ousted from Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Pushpa 2. The dancer who had originally been tasked with creating a unique dance sequence for director Sukumar’s vision has now been replaced on the team, as confirmed by producer Naveen Yerneni during a recent media interview, according to ETV Bharat reports.
In my expertise, I’d like to share some updates about a project I’ve been involved with. Originally, we had a choreographer, but we’ve made a change and are now working with a new one. The song sequence will commence shooting from November 4th with the new choreographer in tow. It’s essential to note that Jani Master was granted an interim bail by the Telangana High Court on October 24th.
In adherence to various news outlets, the High Court has granted me bail under specific terms. The court has counseled me to refrain from influencing the victim’s life further. Additionally, they have requested that I maintain regular contact with the investigators handling my case as the choreographer of Kaavaalaa.
It’s come to light that Jani Master has been making news due to allegations of sexual misconduct made by a 21-year-old female coworker over an extended period. Consequently, he was taken into police custody in Goa and then placed under judicial supervision for a fortnight.
A police investigation made some shocking revelations and claimed that Jani Master allegedly assaulted his female colleague when she was a minor, leading to charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act. Besides, the choreographer has been charged under sections 376 (rape), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
As a devoted follower recounting this unfortunate incident, I can say that I was the victim who declared in my complaint that I was subjected to repeated sexual assaults during our photoshoots across various cities. Beyond these instances, Jani Master is alleged to have assaulted me on multiple occasions at his residence in Narsingi.
