Ram Charan’s Game Changer facing legal heat after failing to pay extra actors? Here’s what we know

This year, the multi-regional movie titled “Game Changer,” starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, was released. Unfortunately, it didn’t fare well at the ticket counters. Additionally, the film found itself embroiled in various controversies, with allegations of inflated box office figures, unauthorized leaks, and more.

Recently, after the movie’s release, the makers of Game Changer have been accused in a police complaint for failing to pay extras as promised. According to an article from Telugu Scribe, it is claimed that the extras were supposed to receive ₹1200 each by the end of February, but this payment allegedly did not occur.

350 extras involved in the film “Game Changer” have lodged a police complaint in Guntur, alleging that producers Shankar and Dil Raju failed to keep their promises, as per statements made by actor Tarun. Tarun claimed that Swargam Shiva, one of the co-directors of Game Changer, had promised each extra ₹1200.

I myself have been advocating that the authorities should intervene and enforce payment from Shankar, Dil Raju, and Swargam Shiva, as they’ve fallen behind on their obligations.

When they heard about the recent developments on X (previously known as Twitter), online users didn’t hesitate to mention Game Changer’s main actor, Ram Charan, urging him to investigate the situation.

As a lifestyle aficionado, I frequently come across discussions on social media platforms that highlight an intriguing dilemma within the film industry: Actors, who have ample resources at their disposal, collaborate with influencers, while those hardworking individuals behind the scenes—the actors who brought the film to life—often find themselves undercompensated. These instances of financial disparity are not uncommon in our beloved world of cinema.

Starring: Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Anjali, and other prominent actors

The movie has been crafted by the talented S. Shankar (writer and director) and is produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sree Venkateshwara Creations.

In simple terms, S. S. Thaman created the movie’s unique music and sound effects, while Thirunavukkarasu and Shameer Muhammad took care of the film’s camera work and post-production editing.

The narrative unfolds around a tenacious government officer, engaged in a battle against the nation’s unscrupulous bureaucrats. In this political drama by Shankar, Ram Charan takes on two roles. Currently, you can watch “Game Changer” in various languages on Amazon Prime Video.
