Without a shadow of a doubt, actor Bala is undeniably a contentious figure within South Indian cinema, often due to his personal life. This controversial persona is particularly pronounced, as his two marriages – one to singer and composer Amrutha Suresh, and the second to Elizabeth Udayan – have generated significant buzz among fans.
Recently, Amrutha Suresh, Bala’s former spouse, has expressed accusations of forgery in their divorce proceedings on social media. These allegations surface following a seemingly deceptive post about Amrutha that was shared across various accounts, accompanied by a statement falsely attributed to a singer.
Amrutha Suresh explained that what had been presented as a deliberate effort to deceive people and a PR stunt aimed at distributing misinformation about her court case involving document forgery at the Kerala High Court, was not accurate. In fact, she emphasized that the issue at hand was not about canceling an insurance policy, contrary to the false depictions being circulated.
The singer additionally made clear that reports suggesting both her and her child demanded a specific amount of money are entirely false, as she has never said such a thing. Furthermore, she hinted at taking legal measures against those spreading false information and emphasized that she is conscious of who instigated the public deception.

In 2009, Bala and Amrutha Suresh crossed paths on the movie set of Venalmaran. They quickly formed a friendship that blossomed into a romantic relationship as they spent more time together during Star Singer, where Amrutha was a contestant and Bala served as a judge. The couple got married in 2010, welcoming a daughter in 2012. Unfortunately, they went their separate ways in 2015, and their marriage was legally dissolved in 2019.
In my line of work as a lifestyle expert, I find myself often in the midst of intriguing stories, and Bala’s personal life is no exception. Last week, a shocking allegation surfaced from his second ex-wife, Elizabeth Udayan, claiming instances of physical and mental abuse. This revelation has left many questioning how he could embark on a third marital journey when the second one apparently remains unresolved.
Instead, Bala consistently denies allegations suggesting he’s been married four times. He considers such assumptions preposterous. Furthermore, he clarified that according to legal records, Kokila is the second woman he’s officially married, as his union with Elizabeth Udayan remains unregistered.
