Ram Charan addresses long hiatus after his last release RRR; says THIS about working on one film for years

As a die-hard fan of Ram Charan, I can’t help but marvel at his dedication and commitment to his craft! It’s been four years since we last saw him grace the silver screen with a solo release, and it’s safe to say that he has certainly made it worth the wait.

Having worked tirelessly for three long years on “Game Changer,” Ram Charan is truly a testament to the phrase, “Good things come to those who wait.” Despite facing delays and setbacks in the process, he never faltered or compromised on his vision for this Shankar directorial.

His recent humorous remark at the promotional event in Mumbai, comparing himself to other actors who have multiple releases in a year, shows that he is not only an accomplished artist but also has a great sense of humor! I can’t help but chuckle every time I remember his witty response, “Sir, sab log bohot films kiye hai, sir. But teen saal mein main ek hi film kiya (Sir, all others did many films over the years, but I did only one film in three years).”

The power-packed trailer and energetic tracks of “Game Changer” have already left us eagerly anticipating its release on January 10, 2025. With Ram Charan portraying double roles as a father and son, and Kiara Advani as the leading lady, I can’t wait to see this fantastic cast bring the story of “Game Changer” to life!

In the meantime, I’ll be counting down the days until January 10, 2025, and reminding myself that good things come to those who wait – especially when it comes to Ram Charan’s next solo release! And to keep myself entertained, I’ll be re-watching RRR over and over again!

Oh, and as a fun fact, did you know that if you add up the number of years since his last solo release and the number of roles he plays in “Game Changer,” it equals 7? Could this mean that we’re in for seven times the excitement with Ram Charan’s return to the big screen? Only time will tell!

Ram Charan is brimming with excitement for his upcoming solo movie release, marking nearly four years since his last standalone project. Most recently, fans caught a glimpse of him in the 2022 film RRR, but since then, he has had no theatrical appearances apart from brief cameos in a few projects. Lately, he shared insights on this period in his career, revealing that he focused on just one movie during this timeframe.

At the launch event for Game Changer in Mumbai, Ram Charan playfully addressed producer Dil Raju’s gratitude towards the entire team for diligently working on this project for a span of three years while making just one movie.

Instead of directly comparing himself to other prolific actors, he jokingly pointed out that unlike them, he’s managed to complete just one movie over a three-year span.

In simpler terms, RC stated, “Everyone else has made numerous films throughout their career, but for the past three years, I’ve only completed one.

In a notable change, Game Changer marks Ram Charan’s return as a solo lead after several years, with his previous film, RRR, sharing the limelight with Jr. NTR. Following RRR, he dedicated approximately three and a half years to the Shankar-directed project, which experienced some postponements due to reasons primarily understood by the production team.

At a recent promotional event in Dallas for the movie, RC mentioned that it’s been four years since his last solo film (which was RRR with his brother Tarak). He also shared that he and Shankar have been working tirelessly on Game Changer for approximately three and a half years. RC expressed excitement that this upcoming film will be a fantastic Sankranti treat, one that won’t let anyone down.

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about the upcoming movie, Game Changer! With its electrifying trailer and four pulsating tracks that have been unveiled, this film has already left me spellbound. I can hardly wait for its grand premiere on the big screen, scheduled for January 10, 2025. The anticipation is real!

In the film directed by Shankar, the talented actor Ram Charan will take on dual roles. He’ll play both a father figure and a son. Among these roles, one is centered around him playing an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer.

In addition to Ram Charan, the movie features Kiara Advani as the main female character, and SJ Suryah takes on the villainous role.
