After wrapping up the second phase of closed beta testing for Rainbow Six Mobile, everyone is eagerly waiting for its next move: a soft release.

As a fervent supporter, I’m thrilled to share that according to the game’s development plan, the soft launch of “Rainbow Six Mobile” marks its permanent debut! This means the game will be progressively rolled out to players in specific regions. What’s even more exciting is that unlike the beta tests where resets were common, after the official launch, your hard-earned progress will persist! During the soft-launch phase, we can expect mini-seasons, ranked mode, an event-based game mode, and additional maps to be introduced.

All of this sounds extremely promising. So, when is Rainbow Six Mobile having its soft launch?

All Regions in Rainbow Six Mobile’s Soft Launch Phase

The soft launch of the game, titled “Rainbow Six Mobile,” initiated in August 2023. As of now, Ubisoft has soft-released this game in seven countries on both Android and iOS platforms. These countries are Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, France, Mexico, and Poland.

Here is a timeline of when each region was added:

  • Canada: August 28, 2023
  • Mexico: September 4, 2023
  • Chile: November 8, 2023
  • Colombia: December 16, 2023
  • Argentina: November 20, 2024
  • France: January 20, 2025
  • Poland: February 26, 2025

As a dedicated gamer, I was taken aback when Ubisoft hit the brakes on the global launch of Rainbow Six Mobile back in mid-March 2024. Instead of expanding to new regions, they decided to put their soft-launch program on hold to fine-tune some core gameplay aspects. Fast forward to November 2024, the developers returned with renewed energy and promises to deliver an even better gaming experience.

The soft launch version of the game includes innovative customizations for operators, enhancements in gameplay mechanics (including fixes for wall clipping issues), multiple new game modes, a beta test of a ranked mode, scheduled ranked events, and the option to make progress that persists over time.

Following the soft launch period, it’s expected that the global release of “Rainbow Six Mobile” will take place. As of now, the specific release date remains undisclosed, but there are strong indications pointing towards mid-2025.

According to the plan, you can anticipate that the complete editions of the game will include multiple seasons, new operators, controller compatibility, match reconnection, and other features.
