Rainbow Six Mobile: All Playable Game Modes

As a diehard fan, I can confidently say that Rainbow Six Mobile seems designed to translate the thrilling team-based, high-tech tactical shooter experience of Siege onto a mobile platform. Having dived into a match, it’s clear that Ubisoft has hit the mark in achieving their objectives.

The game offers the usual operators, weapons, maps, and devastation characteristic of the series. These elements have been adapted for a user-friendly mobile interface, ensuring that the possible mayhem remains manageable.

As an avid fan, I can’t help but appreciate the fact that the developers behind Rainbow Six Mobile seem determined to emulate a key aspect from Siege – the implementation of time-limited game modes. This move is designed to keep the gaming experience engaging and dynamic. Ubisoft has indeed done a commendable job by blending classic and innovative modes, catering to those who prefer a challenging hardcore approach as well as those seeking a more relaxed, casual experience.

All Game Modes in Rainbow Six Mobile

In the game Rainbow Six Mobile, you’ll find five different modes to play: Secure Area, Secure or Destroy, Bomb, Team Elimination, and Blast Zone.

In their standard configuration, all game modes are team-based 5v5 games played as a best-of-three.

Secure Area

In the designated Secure Zone, intruders aim to identify and remain in the room that contains the biohazard material for a continuous 10 seconds. To counter this, protectors must keep watch over the room at all times. Protectors are alerted when the intruders begin their attempt to secure the area. If a protector steps into the room, the timer will pause and the status will be considered contested.

If the circular time limit expires with the objective still undecided, the round moves into extra time. This extra time continues until one side leaves the objective area.

The game will conclude under three scenarios: when the defenders manage to control the zone, when the time for the round runs out, or if every member from one team is knocked out.

Secure Or Endure

In a twist reminiscent of Securing an Area, the game rule Secure or Endure operates under slightly different conditions. Instead of extending over multiple rounds, it spans just two, and during this brief timeframe, both competing teams aim for the same designated room simultaneously.

As a match advances, Defenders will have to wait for a more extended period before they can respawn. It’s important to note that respawning doesn’t replenish any gadgets.

In simpler terms, the team that manages to achieve their goal quickest on the offensive side during a single turn takes home the victory. If neither team reaches the objective, the one with the highest number of kills decides the match. And if both teams end up with an equal number of kills, then the team who secured the initial kill (First Blood) is declared the winner.

Bomb

In the city of “Bomb,” the assailants need to locate a room on the map that houses two explosives. Their objective is to disarm these bombs by positioning a defuser near them. Usually, the bombs are set up in adjacent or close-by rooms. Yet, certain maps may include split bomb sites, where the bomb site will be partitioned across different floors instead.

To begin each round, a player who wishes to do so will grab the defuser. If this player lets go of it or gets killed, the defuse automatically drops and any remaining teammates can then pick it up.

After being placed, it takes the defuser 45 seconds to deactivate the explosive device. Victory in this round goes to the attackers if they successfully disarm either bomb or manage to wipe out the opposing team.

In simpler terms, the defenders should stop the attackers from setting off the bomb (activating the defuser), or deactivate the already activated bomb. They can succeed in this mission by removing the bomb after it has been placed, or by taking out the attackers before they get a chance to place the bomb.

Team Deathmatch

In the game mode known as Team Deathmatch, two squads of five members engage in intense combat with the goal of accumulating the highest number of kills within a given time period. Since respawning is enabled, dying no longer results in immediate exclusion from continuing to play. Instead, players are revived and can rejoin the fight.

In my gaming world, the team that bags 20 kills first or has the highest score when the clock runs out is crowned the victor!

In simpler terms, Team Deathmatch provides an enjoyable gaming experience for more relaxed gamers, and it’s set to be accessible during weekdays.

Blast Pit

In the Blast Pit, the playstyle mirrors that of a Team Deathmatch, but what sets it apart is the restriction on weapons. Here, players are limited to utilizing endless supply impact grenades instead of a broader range of weaponry.

In this scenario, only the Recruit Operator is selectable for play. Additionally, each Operator functions as a lighter class with lower health – specifically, 50 Health Points (HP). Consequently, any explosion from a grenade thrown close by results in an immediate knockout for these Operators.

All Limited-Time Game Modes in Rainbow Six Mobile

In the mobile version of “Rainbow Six”, several game modes were temporarily introduced. However, these temporary modes are no longer accessible in the present version of the game.

The limited-time game modes included Veteran, Quickplay, and Happy Hour.

Veteran

The Veteran game mode is for the hardcore Rainbow Six Mobile fan.

The red outlines for enemies previously used to make spotting them through openings more straightforward have been removed. Additionally, the number of matches required to win has been expanded from best-of-three to best-of-five.

As a gamer, I’ve noticed that the matchmaking process takes a bit longer than usual, and it seems they prioritize connecting me with other human players rather than bots or players close in skill level. It appears my Matchmaking Rating (MMR) isn’t being factored in either.

Quickplay

Quickplay is the polar opposite of Veteran and offers a more casual experience.

SwiftMatch provides faster player matching, single-game contests rather than series of three, and completely unpredictable game types and stages.

Happy Hour

In simpler terms, “Happy Hour” isn’t just a play mode but rather a chance for players to possibly engage in matches with the creators of “Rainbow Six Mobile“.

It’s once more the time we all look forward to! Who’s up for taking on the developers at their favorite game?

Drop by from 8-9pm EST and pick the #R6M Happy Hour playlist to test your skills against them.
