As per Sneider’s account, Quentin Tarantino is said to be earning an impressive $20 million for writing the script. Additionally, it has been suggested that Netflix may provide Leonardo DiCaprio with a substantial amount of money to resume his portrayal of Rick Dalton in a brief appearance.
Preliminary news suggests that David Fincher and Brad Pitt are set to collaborate once more, this time on a follow-up to Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 comedy drama. The plan is for Pitt to revisit his character, Cliff Booth, the stuntman role he originally played. There are whispers that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II might embody a character inspired by Jim Brown, a Hall of Fame football player who transitioned into acting, with notable roles in films like The Dirty Dozen.
According to a separate report from The InSneider’s Jeff Sneider, Leonardo DiCaprio, who was part of the original cast alongside Pitt, is currently in discussions to return and play Rick Dalton once again, joining Pitt and Fincher. As for Margot Robbie, who portrayed Sharon Tate in the film, early reports suggest she could be ready and willing to rejoin the project if director Fincher extends an invitation.
Regarding the creation of this movie, it’s worth noting that the script eventually transformed into what it is now from Quentin Tarantino’s original script for The Movie Critic, which was rumored to include Brad Pitt in some capacity as Booth. Additionally, Tarantino has a special agreement with Sony Pictures regarding various aspects of Once Upon a Time and its rights.
