Pushpa 3: Composer Devi Sri Prasad drops major update on Allu Arjun film; reveals how Sukumar is ‘reworking’ the story

The sequel to Pushpa, featuring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, has become the highest-earning Indian film by shattering various box office records. Since the film’s triumphant release, viewers have been eager for any news regarding a third installment. However, the creators have yet to offer any details; however, composer Devi Sri Prasad provided some intriguing tidbits during an interview with India Today.

DSP shared that the foundation for his musical concepts had been laid over many years. From the outset of Pushpa, he had preliminary musical ideas which they started to expand upon prior to working on Pushpa 2. Some melodies DSP composed didn’t align with Pushpa 2 but may find a place in Pushpa 3.

As the narrative for the upcoming section unfolded, certain aspects were left tentative for further development. He clarified that although he has some concepts in mind, the complete framework still requires refinement.

Right now, Sukumar sir is putting in a great deal of effort and passion into refining scenes and the story for Pushpa 2, with many adjustments being made to set up the plot for Pushpa 3. There are some building blocks and concepts that will come together as we progress, he noted.

In regards to Pushpa 3, the team intends to dedicate their all, much like they did with the initial two movies. Sukumar is currently working on the script, and as of now, the production process hasn’t started yet.

Previously, during an exclusive conversation with TopMob, the dialogue writer for Pushpa 2, Srikanth Vissa disclosed that the upcoming film in the Allu Arjun series will feature a larger cast.

He mentioned that Pushpa 3: The Rampage is expected to be even larger, more impressive, and superior to Pushpa 2: The Rule. They plan to incorporate additional characters into the storyline for the third installment.

Last year, on December 5, Pushpa 2: The Rule was released in cinemas, and it’s been doing well with audiences ever since.
