In December 2024, Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, made a huge impact when it was released in cinemas. Directed by Sukumar, the film ranked among the top-earning Indian movies and garnered popularity, even on Netflix after its digital release. Now, this blockbuster hit is set to air on Hindi television.

When and where to watch Pushpa 2 on TV

On their X handle, the creators of Pushpa 2 announced that the movie would make its first television appearance on Hindi channels on May 31st. You can watch it on Zee Cinema at 7:30 PM. They wrote, “On May 31st at night, let one voice echo in every home, Pushparaj! Don’t miss the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, only on #ZeeCinema at 7:30 PM.

Official trailer and plot of Pushpa 2

In Pushpa 2: The Rule, we continue right where the initial installment ended. A shipment of valuable red sandalwood arrives at Yokohama Port, causing quite a stir among the workers as they discover Pushpa concealed within it. The narrative then takes us back in time through a series of flashbacks.

Pushpa aspires to overthrow the current state government by assisting Siddappa in ascending to the position of Chief Minister. However, he resorts to illegal activities such as smuggling sandalwood across international borders and employing cunning strategies to outmaneuver his opponents. Despite Shekhawat’s attempts, Pushpa’s shipment of sandalwood arrives safely in Japan. A tragic turn of events occurs when Pushpa’s niece Kaveri is brutally attacked, prompting a violent act of retaliation from him.

In a turn of events, Pushpa eliminates Bugga Reddy and his associates, prompting their adversaries such as Minister Pratap Reddy and Jaali Reddy to swear revenge. However, Pushpa reconnects with his long-lost brother Mohan during this time. Regrettably, tranquility is brief, setting the stage for the forthcoming episodes’ central conflicts.

In simple terms, Sukumar is responsible for both writing and directing Pushpa 2. This movie is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the production house Mythri Movie Makers, with additional production from Sukumar Writings. Allu Arjun stars as the main character, and he’s joined in the cast by Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna.

Additionally, the actors Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, and Ajay Ghosh are part of the ensemble. The music for this production is created by Devi Sri Prasad. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek was responsible for the cinematography, while Navin Nooli took care of the editing process.
