As a die-hard fan of Telugu cinema, I can hardly contain my excitement as Pushpa 2: The Rule graces our screens today! With Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna at the helm, it’s bound to be an exhilarating ride. And knowing that it will soon stream on Netflix is just the cherry on top of this cinematic sundae!
Today, December 5th, Pushpa 2: The Rule made its grand debut on the big screen. Excited fans are flocking to their local cinemas to catch Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in action. But, for those who can’t make it to the theaters, where can you watch it later? Earlier this year, it was announced that this Sukumar film would be streamed on Netflix once its theatrical run concludes.
At the beginning of January, the streaming colossus unveiled a poster for Pushpa 2 and declared, “Pushpa will emerge from his hiding place and is set to DOMINATE! #Pushpa2: The domination begins soon on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi as a post-theatrical debut!
As a lifestyle aficionado, I’m thrilled to share that the highly anticipated sequel to Pushpa is indeed set for release on Netflix. Yet, I must clarify that an official date for its debut remains undisclosed at this time. What I can confirm, though, is that our favorite streaming platform has secured the digital rights for Pushpa 2 in a staggering deal!
Indeed, you’ve got it correct! As reported by Aakashavaani, Netflix secured the streaming privileges for the movie featuring Allu Arjun at around Rs 270 crores. At present, Pushpa: The Rise can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
Take a look at the post below:
Contrarily, Allu Arjun now stands as India’s highest-earning actor following his impressive salary of 300 crore INR for Pushpa 2. As per Forbes’ reports, he has outshone the earnings of actors such as Vijay, Prabhas (twice), Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan within India.
Speaking of contrast, the earnings for Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in their recent film are considerably less. Specifically, Rashmika was paid Rs 10 crores, whereas Fahadh took home Rs 8 crores for the same project.
In simple terms, Sreeleela received a payment of two crores Indian rupees for her unique dance sequence alongside Allu Arjun. It’s said that Samantha Ruth Prabhu pocketed five crores for her role in Oo Antava from the first Pushpa movie.
