For those not familiar, Tarak Ponnappa gained popularity after appearing in Yash’s KGF series, playing the character Daya. Following that, he worked alongside Jr NTR in the movie Devara, portraying Pasura, who is Saif Ali Khan’s on-screen son.
Some other hit movies of Tarak are Ajaraamara, Gilky, Brihaspathi, Kotigobba 3, CSI Sanatan, along with a few more notable ones.
In one of the sneak peeks for Pushpa 2, his initial appearance with a partially shaved head drew immediate interest, sparking curiosity among viewers about the nature of his character in the film starring Allu Arjun.
In addition, Tarak Ponnappa plays a prominent role during the crucial part of the movie known as the Jathara sequence, which serves as the film’s climax.
Currently, Pushpa 2 is shattering box office records worldwide. So far, it has surpassed its earnings target, bringing in approximately Rs. 650 crores, breaking the previous first-week earnings record set by Baahubali 2.
